I just called Koko over after she performed many child tasks such as putting her shoes away, hanging up her coat, cleaning up her toys. She was a good sport for the most part. So I called her over and said, “Koko, I need you to do one more thing.”
She came over with reluctance, waiting for the chore command. “I need you to…give me a really, REALLY big hug.”
She threw her arms around me and said with joy, “Mama! I’m going to squeeze you so hard so that when you die, I always remember you in my heart!!”
